This public page explains the three Localife account deletion methods, including mobile verification, the expected processing timeline, and what data may be retained for legal or operational reasons.

Delete account with mobile verification

Use this method if you cannot sign in to the App or have already uninstalled it. Enter your registered mobile number, get a one-time verification code, then confirm account deletion.

Verification and processing

How Localife verifies and processes deletion

Deletion is processed only after account ownership is verified. This protects users from unauthorized deletion requests.

Identity verification

This public request flow verifies your registered mobile number using a one-time SMS code before the request is recorded.

Expected processing time

For this mobile verification flow, eligible account deletion is completed automatically after the SMS code is verified. Some records may still be retained where required by law, security, refunds, disputes, or unresolved transactions.

Deletion effect

After deletion, the account can no longer be used to sign in, place orders, use membership benefits, receive wallet benefits, or view personal account history.

Data we may retain

Limited retention after account deletion

Some records may be retained only where required for compliance, transaction integrity, security, accounting, tax, refunds, disputes, fraud prevention, or legal claims.

Order, payment, refund, and invoice records

Retained where needed to complete active orders, handle refunds or complaints, meet accounting or tax obligations, and resolve transaction disputes.

Security, abuse-prevention, and audit logs

Retained where needed to protect users and Localife from unauthorized access, fraud, policy abuse, chargeback abuse, or platform security incidents.

Customer-service correspondence

Retained where needed to evidence your deletion request, support case handling, complaint resolution, and legal or regulatory obligations.
